Twiggy, 20 Years of an Icon

Foscarini will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Marc Sadler’s iconic Twiggy lamp during 3daysofdesign. Defined by its slender arched silhouette and weightless suspended diffuser, Twiggy remains one of the brand’s most recognizable designs. Throughout 3daysofdesign, Foscarini will be hosting a series of talks featuring Marc Sadler, as he reflects on Twiggy's lasting cultural impact, the creative process, engineering breakthroughs, and more. These talks will be held on June 10th from 5PM - 6PM and on June 11th, from 10AM - 11AM.

Alongside Twiggy, Foscarini presents a selection of new lighting pieces spanning a range of design languages and materials: the Allumette and Tilia chandeliers by Francesca Lanzavecchia, the Torche wall lamp by Studio Dordoni, and Aplomb wall and Bahia (the latter offered in new colors) by Lucidi Pevere, plus two new versions of the Gregg lamp by Serafini Palomba: the outdoor Gregg “sand,” with a warm-toned finish designed to blend naturally into exterior settings, and the Poly Gregg pendant, featuring new colored cords. Diverse projects in form and technique, united by a shared ambition: to make decorative light a presence that transforms space.
