Layers in Time is Silverlining’s inaugural exhibition of its first limited edition collection. The exhibition coincides with the brand’s 40th anniversary, celebrating four decades of innovation in craft and design.

Presented at the General Assembly Gallery in Mayfair, the show features eight pieces that explore the intersection of materiality, craft, and form. Designed and made entirely by SL Studio in Silverlining’s North Wales studio, the works draw on over 30 in-house disciplines—from traditional joinery and marquetry to leatherwork and hand-finishing—reimagined through contemporary techniques including CNC shaping and experimental surface treatments. The collection signals a bold new chapter in the studio’s creative practice.
