Afterimage

For London Design Festival 2026, Monologue London presents Afterimage, an exhibition exploring light, memory and material — the moment an object lingers in the eye and settles in the mind.

Featuring works by Tacchini, 6:AM, Paraforma, Paul Matter, Studio Douze Degrés and Henry Svendsen, the exhibition is conceived by Monologue founder Pavel Klimczak and designed by Paraforma.

The installation transforms the Mayfair showroom into a landscape of reflections. At its centre, a monumental circular mirror by Italian maker Mingardo is crafted in stainless steel, polished from a clouded rim to a flawless core and raised on a gridded platform. As visitors move around it, reflections shift and overlap, folding together the objects, the room and the gardens of Portman Square.
