TEMPO Gallery is delighted to present Natural Spirit, its debut exhibition of contemporary collectible design and functional art from 1 to 6 April 2024, at 43 rue Charlot, in the heart of the Marais in Paris.
Coinciding with PAD Paris, the leading collectible design fair, this exhibition brings together seven international designers, artists, and studios: Studio AOAO (Netherlands), Emma Donnersberg (France, USA), Jenna Kaës (France), Jonas Lutz (Netherlands), Maïté Seimetz (Luxembourg), Basse Stittgen (Germany), and Grond Studio (Belgium).
Curated by Pierre Charreau, founder of the gallery and curator, Natural Spirit explores nature as a driving force in artistic creation. For centuries, nature has influenced artists, thinkers, and engineers, shaping how we perceive and transform the world. As a catalyst for creation and innovation, it has continuously redefined artistic and design practices. Today, nature is often seen as a fragile resource, but this exhibition highlights its resilience, adaptability, and continuous renewal. This perspective comes to life through a collection of works that reflect nature’s transformative power through organic forms, raw materials, or processes that echo natural cycles.
