Kennedy Yanko presents her first institutional solo exhibition in Paris, Ce qui nous rassemble, at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine. Curated by Matthieu Poirier, the exhibition brings together fourteen new sculptures installed among the museum’s historic plaster casts of arches, angels, gargoyles and other architectural fragments from Gothic churches across France.

For this new body of work, Yanko returns to her signature paint skins, draped over armatures made from salvaged metal. Soft, seemingly weightless surfaces meet rigid industrial forms, creating a tension between movement and stillness.

Set across 1,500 square metres of architectural history, the exhibition places Yanko’s contemporary sculptures in dialogue with the past, transforming discarded materials into new forms.

Open 11am -7pm every day except Tuesdays.
