Cold Warm

Cold Warm explores the emotional and physical presence of objects - how material, texture, weight and surface can carry memory. The exhibition brings together furniture and fragments of interiors as a sensory landscape, where hardness can feel tender, cold surfaces can suggest warmth, and familiar forms become slightly displaced.

These fragments suggest a trace of domestic space without fully defining them, allowing objects and atmosphere to unfold together.

Rather than being experienced only visually, the works ask to be felt through the body : through touch, distance, scale and memory. Together, they form a whole - a continuous experience where all is merged, somewhere between comfort and tension, permanence and fragility, intimacy and estrangement.

A new collection cc-tapis x Rooms Studio, Marks of Time, will also be unveiled during the exhibition. Drawing on the traces that time leaves behind, the collection transforms familiar signs into knotted surfaces. Printed words, handwritten letters, arrows, columns and rough drawings take on a different scale and tactile presence, moving between recognition and abstraction. Through knotting, their outlines soften and their meanings shift, as if time had passed over them.
