For its first collaboration with Paris Design Week, Musée Bourdelle presents Contrepoint, an installation by French designer Anthony Guerrée. Conceived as a dialogue between contemporary decorative arts and the sculptural language of Antoine Bourdelle, the exhibition brings together furniture and objects in wood, glass, textile and terracotta. Guerrée draws on the lines, curves and forms of Bourdelle’s work to create pieces that unfold throughout the museum’s galleries, studios and garden.

About
Musee Bourdelle
Musée Bourdelle occupies the Montparnasse studios where French sculptor Antoine Bourdelle (1861–1929) lived and worked for more than 40 years. A contemporary of Rodin and Maillol, Bourdelle became renowned for his powerful monumental sculpture. Opened in 1949, the museum preserves several of the artist’s original working spaces, including his emblematic sculpture studio.
