AGO Projects, the Mexico City and New York-based design practice will collaborate for the second time with ZAK+FOX, the New York City-based textile house, to present a solo exhibition of Pol Agustí's luminous sculptural objects, titled Santos de Nada, at the ZAK+FOX New York City Showroom.Santos de Nada (Saints of Nothing) is a title that doesn’t explain—it suggests. It evokes theloss of faith, the secularization of imagery, or simply the fact that explicit devotion is no longernecessary to keep a certain spirituality alive. That, even without a religious figure at home, eachtime one of these lamps is lit, a memory, an absence, or a question toward the invisible is alsoilluminated.
