Ceramic artist Sean Gerstley unveils a compelling new body of work in his second solo exhibition at Free Play. Known for his vibrant, sculptural vessels, Gerstley embraces playful, intuitive expression in this latest series—blending painterly glazes with bold forms inspired by Orphism, Fauvism, and Automatism.

This exhibition marks a significant evolution in the artist’s practice, channeling creative freedom and spontaneity into deeply personal ceramic pieces. Presented just ahead of his upcoming public art installation at the Philadelphia International Airport, the show captures Gerstley at a pivotal moment of artistic expansion.

Superhouse

Superhouse is a New York-based platform and nomadic gallery founded in 2019 by Stephen Markos with a focus on art furniture and design. In addition to presenting IRL and digital exhibitions, Superhouse provides online programming including daily content, special events, and designer interviews with the likes of Gaetano Pesce and OrtaMiklos.
