On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, RedDuo Studio, the multidisciplinary practice founded by Fabiola di Virgilio and Andrea Rosso, presents RedDuo Galleria: a project that brings the duo’s first space in the heart of Porta Genova back to life, now reinterpreted as a temporary gallery.
A special place where their journey first began, the space is now revived years later and presented in a new light, transformed into a narrative setting that reflects evolution, identity, and contemporary vision. The house becomes a lived-in gallery, where objects, furnishings, and materials form a path that feels almost exhibition-like, yet remains intimate and domestic.
The project is part of the studio’s ongoing research, defined by a strong focus on materiality, the sensory dimension of space, and the dialogue between design and well-being. In RedDuo’s work, space is never merely functional; it becomes a tool capable of shaping perception and emotion. At the core of this design vision is a recurring reference to Japanese architecture, reinterpreted through a contemporary language of essential lines, balance between solids and voids, and close attention to detail.
In RedDuo Galleria, these elements become part of an experience: domestic space is transformed into a contemplative setting, where light, textures, and surfaces create an intimate, almost meditative atmosphere. Each room becomes a design scene in which design, craftsmanship, and aesthetic research unfold in fluid dialogue.
