To mark its return to Milan Design Week, Baccarat will unveil new creations in the heart of the Brera district, within an immersive science fiction experience bringing together, across multiple timelines, the icons and savoir-faire of the Maison, celebrating boldness and creative freedom.

Conceived by Emmanuelle Luciani, artist, art historian and curator, Crystal Crypt offers an unexpected interpretation of Baccarat’s identity, approaching crystal as a total art experience. Artisanal gesture, light, image and sound merge to project the heritage of the Manufacture into an aesthetic nourished by the imagination of science fiction. Envisioned as a galactic cathedral, the space pays tribute to the craftsmanship of Baccarat’s artisans, passed down and reinvented through generations. Echoing Philip K. Dick’s short story The Crystal Crypt , matter becomes a threshold between reality and fiction, past and future. In this time capsule, crystal reveals the invisible: it crosses eras, transforms light into substance, and offers visitors a suspended moment between heritage and futuristic vision. Revisited icons and Haute Cristallerie pieces take on their full dimension here. Symbols of ever-renewed creativity, they assert themselves as manifesto-objects, carriers of a memory in constant transformation and projected toward the future.
