VÆRKTØJ 2

VÆRKTØJ is an exhibition format that explores the role of tools in design (‘værktøj’ is the Danish word for ‘tool’). Making its debut at 3daysofdesign, VÆRKTØJ 2 marks the second edition of the exhibition. This year, the focus is on the workshop press – an industrial machine used, in part or in full, to create each piece in the exhibition. Through this single tool, VÆRKTØJ 2 reflects on how equipment shapes both process and outcome – and how tools quietly inform material choices, forms, and ideas.

VÆRKTØJ 2 invites visitors to consider the often invisible impact of making – and how the tools of the workshop help define a designer’s identity.
