Commune Shows

Commune Shows is a thoughtful exhibition of small abstract paintings by Steven Johanknecht, co-founder and principal of the world-renowned Los Angeles-based design studio Commune, alongside rugs and blankets inspired by the paintings. The show also features work by American woodturner and longtimeCommune collaborator Niles Wertz. Curated by Commune principal Roman Alonso, the 'Commune Shows' marks the first group solo showcase for both artists and their first at Blunk Space, a gallery devoted to preserving thelegacy of the late American sculptor JB Blunk.
