Italian Radical Design Group brings Memphis, Gufram, and Meritalia® together at Kalei NYC for a three-floor presentation inside the gallery’s Bowery townhouse. Coinciding with ICFF and on view from May 15 to July 5, 2026, the exhibition marks the first time the three brands have been shown together in the United States. Radical icons and previously unseen pieces are placed throughout the space, creating a layered view of Italian Radical Design across furniture, interiors, irony, and domestic life.

Italian Radical Design

Italian Radical Design was founded by Sandra and Charley Vezza, who have owned the brand Gufram since 2012, with the mission of preserving and enhancing historic Italian design brands with a radical and unconventional spirit. In addition to the recent acquisition of Meritalia, the group, based in the Barolo region of Piedmont, acquired the historic Italian design brand Memphis Milano in early 2022. Founded in 1981, Memphis Milano is globally renowned for its iconic production and radical ethos.
