The Foxglove Collection is a new collaborative lighting collection by New York-based designer Danny Kaplan, founder of his eponymous studio, and Los Angeles-based designer Kassandra Thatcher. Comprising a pendant in two sizes, an oval chandelier and linear chandelier, two sconce designs, a floor to ceiling tension lamp, and a mirror, the collection expands on the original one off chandelier the two designers created for Kaplan’s New York City showroom, transforming a singular sculptural gesture into a fully realized and highly versatile body of work. The collection will launch in May 2026.

Rooted in a long standing creative dialogue, Foxglove is the result of more than a decade of creative curiosity and foundational friendship. Kaplan and Thatcher first began working alongside one another when their Brooklyn studios sat just steps apart, fostering an easy rhythm of exchange ideas were tested quickly, proportions debated in real time, and fabrication strategies openly shared. That early proximity and closeness shaped the way they continue to work together today, even across coasts.

About

Danny Kaplan Studio

Danny Kaplan Studio is dedicated to creating functional and decorative handcrafted ceramic works and beyond that are both ancient and modern; complex and primitive; minimalist and organic. Founded by self-taught ceramicist Danny Kaplan in 2015, each Danny Kaplan Studio piece begins with a sketch in which form and composition play a strong and equally important role. Drawing inspiration from a variety of influences, including the German Modernist ceramist Hans Coper; the classic, primitive forms associated with ancient Greek, Mayan and Chinese potters; and the minimal aesthetic of French interior designer Jean-Michel Frank, the studio’s team of skilled artisans use clay that is rich in grog and grit to build structurally complex forms that stretch the bounds of sculptural design. Danny Kaplan’s showroom is located at 417 Lafayette, 4th Floor in the heart of Manhattan’s NoHo.
