CASA NM3

For Salone del Mobile 2026, within the Fuorisalone, NM3 presents CASA NM3, an installation at its space on Via Farini 93 that imagines the home as a sequence of four rooms defined by movable partitions, loosely inspired by Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich’s Velvet and Silk Café, where textiles and soft surfaces shaped space without conventional walls. Within this abstract domestic setting, NM3’s furnishings create an atmosphere that is at once sculptural and understated, conceived to support everyday life without overpowering it. The installation also introduces an evolved version of the brand’s two classic storage systems, NM25 and NM26, now conceived for the first time as fully modular and customizable systems with doors and drawers, alongside new elements including kitchens and desks that expand their formal language into a broader family of furnishings. Rugs by cc-tapis and intimate objects contributed by three partner brands add further layers to the installation, which ultimately reflects on furniture as an infrastructure of living.
