For the first time, design studio david/nicolas opens its Milan project space in the 5VIE district to visitors, unveiling 'La Boiserie', a standalone project born from years of research into architectural surfaces, interiors, and material expression. Conceived as a modular yet highly customizable system of panels, La Boiserie reflects the studio’s architectural language through recurring geometric motifs that introduce rhythm, depth, and material richness, turning the wall into a central architectural feature. The installation unfolds as an immersive environment that expresses the studio’s approach to form, detail, and materiality.

David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem founded their studio, david/nicolas, in 2011 after meeting at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts. Trained in architecture and interior design, they quickly formed a collaborative partnership rooted in an essential duality balancing imagination and logic. Born in Beirut, the studio has rapidly grown internationally, with additional offices in Milan and San Francisco, working across interiors, furniture, and product design.
