Dos Mil Quatre-Cents Setanta Grams is the collective exhibition that brings together, within the framework of the Milan Fuorisalone 2026, twelve furniture and lighting pieces conceived by eighteen young Catalan designers under a shared premise: each object weighs exactly 2,470 grams. Curated by five young professionals from the sector, the exhibition, which together amounts to 29 kilos of a new generation of Catalan industrial design, will be presented as part of the Ventana exhibition programme and it counts with the support of Labóh and the collaboration of the Industrial Design Association of FAD (ADI-FAD).
From 20 to 25 April 2026, the exhibition will be presented within Ventana, a periodic exhibition programme promoted by Mexican architect Paolo Sarra that connects architecture, craftsmanship and contemporary culture on Via Plinio, in the heart of Milan. In this space, the pieces are presented together on a single pedestal, forming a collective portrait of the next generation of Catalan industrial designers. The twelve pieces include objects designed for everyday use, such as seating, surfaces and lighting, which explore, through their processes, the limits between sustainability, industry and craftsmanship.
