Baranzate Ateliers returns to Milan Design Week for its much anticipated second edition, taking over a massive 7,300 sqm industrial building from the 1950s near Linate at Via Gaudenzio Fantoli 16/3.

The brainchild of Zaventem Ateliers founded by Belgian designer and interior architect Lionel Jadot in 2019, Baranzate Ateliers is the latest example of a series of trailblazing initiatives transforming vast industrial wastelands around European cities into dynamic showcases for pioneering design talent. At the core of these initiatives is a focus on exceptional craftsmanship and the creation of collectible art and design pieces. Reviving the concept of medieval guilds, their unique hive-like approach brings together an unprecedented community of like-minded makers and fosters a stimulating environment for creativity and experimentation.

This year's curated programme highlights new collectible designs by renowned figures from Zaventem Ateliers like Lionel Jadot, Arno Declercq, KRJST, Grond Studio, Mircea Anghel, Ben Storms, and Adeline Halot. Guest designers and studios like Studio Khachatryan and Boquita De Cielo + Monument enrich the lineup. The event also features captivating presentations by collectible design gallery Objects With Narratives showcasing Laurids Gallée's new collection, along with European collectives such as Belgium is Design, Objects With Narratives, and THEMA, exploring the intersection of art, design, architecture, and fashion.
