As the debut series of Sfossils, a new sculptural lighting series entitled 'Paean' borrows from elements of the natural world where texture, colour and form are interpreted through the use of crater, foam, craquelle and reticulated glazes. The pendant lights pose as a study of flora and fauna that's unique to the landscape of the Canadian West. When clustered together, the pendants create voluminous chandeliers with infinite variation and effect. As a part of Alcova Milano 2024, the installation in Bagatti Valsecchi's stairwell will comprise of 100 pendants spanning 13.65m tall.
