Love Lake Studio took inspiration from the original interiors and updated them for modern times. “An architecturally stunning skylight was discovered during demolition, which transports guests back to the Gilded Age through its original stained glass. We restored it to its former glory, and it now acts as a major focal anchor for the space” says Genevieve Love Lake, Principal.

Genevieve continues, “Upon entering Le Bar Penelope, guests are greeted by a velvet tented lounge, perfect for intimate conversations over expertly crafted cocktails. Guests are always under the watchful eye of Penelope's resident menagerie of monkeys, tigers, and leopards, which are dotted throughout the space adding moments of playful levity. The bar takes inspiration from a Victorian theater ticket office, which further enhances the moments of whimsy throughout. Lee Jofa Bongol velvet is featured along the backs of custom sofas, while Holly Hunt Interlock adorns tableside poufs in the main lounge where guests enjoy live music and DJ sets. Erica Shamrock drapery envelopes the space and provides intimate moments throughout. A secret private dining room, where guests can enjoy a decadent dinner surrounded by velvet wall murals by Arte’ is the cherry on top.”

The menu is designed to be shared and features highlights including caviar and elevated raw bar classics. The handcrafted cocktails harken back to another era, and the expansive wine and champagne list complete the menu offerings.
