Darcy's World

JK Art & Design Projects presents Darcy’s World, a celebration of the creative mind of interdisciplinary artist and designer Darcy Miro. Drawing together three decades of Miro’s intuitive approach into a cohesive universe, the exhibition reveals for the first time the full breadth and depth of a vision built entirely on her own terms. A renowned metal sculptor and jewelry artist for over thirty years, acclaimed for her mastery of bronze, gold, and silver casting, Miro explores ceramics through the lens of matriarchal storytelling traditions. Reflecting her personal experience of the everyday rituals inherent in motherhood, the work moves between pristine geometry and expressive organic forms, the ancient and the futuristic, the deliberate and the accidental, the tender and the austere. The exhibition includes ceramics, hand-cast jewelry, a sculptural mirror that also functions as a jewelry holder, a monumental bronze coffee table, and a series of planters — Miro’s first foray into combining artisanal methods with 3D technologies.
