"Under the Wobble Moon. Objects from the Capricious Age" is the most comprehensive exhibition to date of works by Misha Kahn, born in 1989 in Duluth, Minnesota (USA), and the first major presentation of his objects in Europe.
Curated by Kellie Riggs, the exhibition shows works from the past seven years, but almost half are new works that were created especially for the VILLA STUCK museum. The exhibition is shown in the historical rooms on the ground floor and in the old studio and the former private rooms on the upper floor. The presentation will be expanded by a new, inflatable sculpture on the terrace in front of the old studio and an installation in the artists' garden, in the center of which a robot will create paintings for the duration of the exhibition.

Villa Stuck
The Villa Stuck is a nationally and internationally renowned place for encounters with art from the 19th to the 21st century. An important collection of works by Franz von Stuck (1863-1928) and international exhibitions of art around 1900 as well as modern and contemporary art make Villa Stuck a unique place to experience art. The overarching principle of the artists’ villa is the total work of art, in which life, architecture, art, music and theater are combined. Against this background, the current programs of the Villa Stuck address the artistic and cultural diversity of the 19th to 21st centuries. Artist villa, temporary exhibitions and collections enter into a fruitful dialogue. The Villa Stuck thus becomes a source of inspiration and artistic exchange as well as a repository of knowledge - a place that is open to all visitors. The Museum Villa Stuck has been a museum of the City of Munich since 1992 and as such a foundation of the City of Munich with a donation from Hans Joachim and Amélie Ziersch.
