Dear Ride is an artist whose creativeness comes from his deep passion for Surfing and connection to the Ocean. Surfing has been his inspiration throughout his artistic journey and the surfboard and its variations have been his main design mean.
For his collaboration with Antiqua Gallery, the aim was to expand his work even further by creating a new series of timeless sculptures and wall installations, promoting thus an interesting dialogue between Historical Design and Contemporary Art.
Influenced by Etel Adnan’s simplistic and colorful creative identity and combining his own connection to the Ocean and the surf lifestyle, Dear Rides latest work accents high design and craftmanship within a context of elegance and summer aura.
Custom-made surfboards, a group of figurative fin sculptures and 2 wall installations come to remind us of the love for the Ocean and the distinctive feelings of summer.
